This policy explains what information The Pool Stack (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit thepoolstack.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We don’t sell your personal information.

Information you give us. If you email us, we receive your email address and anything you include in your message.

Information collected automatically. We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. These tools use cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as:

• The website or search that referred you
• Links you click, including links to software vendors’ websites
• Browser, device type, and operating system
• Approximate location (city or region), derived from your IP address

We don’t ask for or collect your name, payment details, or account logins.

• To keep the site secure and working properly

Third parties

Analytics data is processed by Google under Google’s Privacy Policy. Product videos are embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode and only load when you press play. Our hosting provider processes standard server logs to deliver the site.

When you follow a link to a software vendor, such as to start a trial or request a demo, you leave our site. That vendor’s own privacy policy applies to anything you do there.

Your choices

• You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
• You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Email us and we’ll respond within 30 days.

Data retention

Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account and then deleted. Emails are kept as long as needed to respond and for our records.

Children

This site is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
