About The Pool Stack

The Pool Stack is an independent guide to the software pool service companies use to run their business: routing, billing, chemistry logs, customer communication and more.

Why we built it

Choosing pool software usually means sitting through sales demos and reading comparison pages written by the vendors themselves. Each one is built to make its own product look best, and starting prices don’t tell you what a company your size will actually pay. We wanted one place where every tool is measured the same way.

Who’s behind it

The Pool Stack is built by a search and digital strategy professional with 15+ years of experience helping people find trustworthy information online. That experience is also why we know how vendor marketing and “best of” lists get made, and why this site works differently.

How we evaluate software

• The same feature audit for every product, checked against each vendor’s entry-level plan.
• Real costs by company size. We apply each vendor’s published pricing to typical companies, from a 1-tech starter route to a 12-tech operation, so you can compare what you’d actually pay.
• Field verdicts only when the evidence exists. We summarize what pool pros say in public discussions, and only publish a verdict when there’s enough feedback to do it fairly.

Independence

The Pool Stack doesn’t make money today. It’s an independent, self-funded project. No vendor pays for coverage, placement or ratings, and the trial, demo and website links on this site are ordinary links, not affiliate links.
